I've sent batch #5 out to my small army of testers and I am getting some interesting feedback. Multiple users are reporting a very 'heady' experience with less of the body sensations.
Does anyone have any insight as to what about this batch may be generating the same feedback from multiple independent users?
This is n-Butyl alcohol, sulfuric acid, and a bicarbonate wash immediately after synthesis. Users were all using the product 24-72hrs after production.
Thanks for any ideas!

What a curious phenomenon! Independent, multiple accounts. Fascinating...
I'm afraid I only have experience with my own product- the preferred 3-methylbutyl variety, and all the rest which don't measure up (for me).

I don't know how I'd characterize the experience. Physically, it's like my body becomes a balloon being overinflated and stretched taught to its limits- just pulsating and creaking and ready to burst. Mentally, I become intensely focused on one particular image and/or sound. I always start my peak out the same way, listening to the Morillo song. Lately, I've been consumed by one lyric- "Don't waste my time"- and last night out of nowhere it just completely enchanted me and I had to back it up several times- the droning ethereal echo-ey, sometimes male and female juxtaposition of the vocalist- everything about this song is pure sensual genius. I've accumulated 3 different subwoofers next to my bed... I'm sure to be pissing my neighbors off in the wee hours...

I put videos on loop, and sometimes I have to back the song up several times if a particular section grabs me like this. The effect is to single in on one exquisite moment and sensation and prolong it for as many minutes as possible, while a fantasy plays out in my head.

The fantasy has always been more or less static, but lately this insanely gorgeous African boy I'm talking to has taken over my head, and I can think of nothing but him. His smooth sweat-glistened muscular back, his perfect butt, his full lips, pink tongue, beautiful cheekbones, and long dreds... The Asian angle of his eyes- piercing dark *grey* in color... If I even try to think of anything else my body is just like 'nope'...

Excuse me while I retire to my fainting couch for a few moments...

So, I don't know if that's what you would call 'heady', but that's my experience, however limited.

I'll note that because of the variability in end product due to the various factors I'm investigating, I'm not casting aspersions on the other varieties- I feel confident that a suitable product can somehow be teased out of the other alcohols. I just haven't been able to do so myself yet.

I look forward to experimenting with other alcohols. My isobutyl just arrived this week, so this weekend will be the first test batch.
My AI assistant suggested that it may be NO/NO2 contamination, which would give the 'dizzy' feeling.

It's an interesting theory. Supposedly even trace amounts of oxides will cause the acrid/burning odor/sensation.

I've even had batches keep a persistent blue color from N2O4 for many days. They've burned.

Air sparging, distillation, or even a bicarbonate wash should take care of this, however, evidently, a wash won't remove "gaseous or non-acidic NO/NO2/N2O4 that is dissolved in the organic phase"

FWIW

Bottom's up!
