I don't have experience with it but I am curious how you use poppers. How often do you use them and was it just one night that caused it, or was it gradual?

it can be from ISOPROPYL formulas. Avoid isopropyl (alcohol)

Lots about this in the archives.
For instance Junior Eye Doctor and other posters here:

I've had this problem once, I can't remember the brand. My eyes were extremely red, though my vision was fine. It lasted for a good week, after that I went to the eye doctor to make sure everything was fine. But it was scary. I now avoid isopropyl at all costs.

Thanks guys. Mine is going to 3 months now and it’s not improving. Is there still hope that it will improve? From previous accounts, it seems it starts getting better from day one? Any one have experience of no improvement initially and then improvement later on?

Test your eyesight with the 'Amsler Grid'. A very useful tool.

Why haven't you been to the eye doctor yet? 3 months seems like an awful long time to just wait to see if it improves on its own. Go to the doctor, be honest about what happened, give him/her all the information, and have your eyes checked by someone who knows what they're doing. Best of luck, I hope it fully recovers!

I have been and maculopathy confirmed. No treatment just follow up. Pleas how long does it take to improve for most people?

Hi all. Does. Any one have any experience of how the recovery looks like. Does it get worse before getting better? Did it fluctuate during the recovery period. Mine seems to be fluctuating with good days and bad days. Some times it feels like it s getting better only for the next day to be very worse.
Any similar experience? Did it eventually resolve?

It would be helpful for both of you to share with the group the name of the brand that caused your eye problems. And if you know, which kind of poppers it was (propyl, etc...)
