Does anyone have a functional link to the professor's wiki?

I have it on good authority that the Prof went final tits up. Notice also all his alter egos are MIA . The only one of his many personalities I liked was the NitriteSpecialist.

The professor was full of shit....it's impure alcohols that cause the bulk of problems...toxic effects...and off odors. Has to be 99% plus high purity and known for a fact. Alcohols degrade and will cause much more impurities than a little bit of sodium nitrate mixed in with sodium nitrite.

It took me years to figure this out. IPN is fine if made well with good and fresh rubbing alcohol. But when not made well, it will have the worst toxic effects, followed by butyl nitrite, isobutyl nitrite and then amyl nitrite, which has the least toxic effects even when impure.

All poppers degrade and form impurities that can make toxic effects much worse. When using degraded alcohols(and they all are on Amazon/ebay), you will end up with similar impurities that cause unpleasant effects. I can't tell you how many times I got rapidly sick on impure butyl and isobutyl nitrite....and also IPN, which was horribly toxic when impure.

Maybe The Professor just got tired of all the childish nonsense? Pity really, as he was very informative and knowledgeable.

Congratulations on a life well lived....sigh. Will you consider donating this important work to The Smithsonian? You owe it to future generations.

On a related note, is r/poppermakers still active at all. I messaged the mods for entry but haven't heard anything back.
