How about using nitroglycerin instead of alkyl nitrite?
Nitroglycerin ointment was developed for hemorrhoid patients and is said to have vasodilator and sphincter relaxation effects like alkyl nitrite.

Yes it is decent for dilation, I wouldn't say it's as good as poppers poppers are usually good for dilation.
Very pounding headaches from nitroglycerin like your brain is swelling. Not the best idea to mix with poppers as it prob will cause you to faint.
If poppers are a no go then it's worth a go. But definitely no horny feeling just a bit of dilation
