hi , is it actaully possible to buy actual amyl nitrate in the UK ? as it seems to be illegal , yet twistedbeast offer amyl ? ive never managed to find a proper bottle of popper like back in the 90's for decades , should i just give up ???

Glad to hear it’s not just me , maybe I’ts my age , lol, but there’s no way that poppers are what they used to be , might as well just sniff smelling salts !,, im sure if those that think a good bottle of poppers is actually available these days could actually experience the stuff from the old days they would actually be blow away , and would stop buying the so called ‘poppers’ that are available today
Please please can someone in the know tell me to stop searching for the holy grail , as it doesn’t exist anymore , as if this is the case I will gladly give up !!!

@pob: I have been posting comments periodically on this Forum for the past three or four years and I concur completely with your observations and experience regarding the inferior quality of the popper products currently being sold from multiple vendors in the US and Europe.

I started using nitrite inhalants in 1972, after reading an informative article in Playboy magazine on various "Pro-Sexual Drugs." The use and effects of Amyl Nitrite were included in that article and appeared attractive to me and worth investigating.

I consider nitrite inhalants to be a legitimate pro-sexual drug. The popper products I purchased during the early 1970's thru the mid-1980's helped me relax during sex and significantly enhanced the erotic feelings of all sexual activities, and especially the direct massage of the prostate gland (via dildos or fisting) leading to very strong and enjoyable orgasms.

None of the popper products I have purchased during the past six or seven years - from both US and European vendors - have provided me the noticeable and pleasurable pro-sexual effects of the better popper products I purchased back in the 70's and 80's.

As an example, vendors in France (and now the UK) offer several popper products identified as "Amyl Nitrite" or "Iso-Amyl Nitrite." I have purchased and sampled all of these products over the past six years.

In my opinion these formulations are not real Amyl Nitrite; and their inferior quality cannot compare to the RAM amyl nitrite I purchased from 1977 thru 1983 from RAM Products in the UK - manufacturer of the original Jungle Juice.

On rare occasions, I will open a new bottle of an "amyl nitrite" product and the first and second hits will provide some very enjoyable pro-sexual effects. After that initial opening, the formula goes "flat" very quickly and provides no pro-sexual effects. It appears that there is no nitrite vapor remaining in the bottle / formula.

I do not believe my age (76) is a major contributing factor to the lack of pro-sexual effects I experience from my use of current popper products. Rather, I believe most of the formulations do not contain a sufficient and potent enough amount of nitrite.

I am 38, one day in late 2012 it suddenly occurred to me that the rumour of pro-sexual effects attributed to poppers might work for me to.
I was off work, so decided to buy a bottle of “brown bottle”.

Well upon inhalation, within a matter of seconds the image of the beautiful
blonde I was looking at sprung to life full of sexual energy, as if I was part of the image myself.
I immediately realised the immense power this drug had .. and regularly purchased brown bottle, blue boy and jungle juice platinum which was a favourite of mine.

Whatever was for sale from late 2012 to 2016 was absolutely spot on in terms of user satisfaction. I begun to experiment with an inflatable vibrator
for prostrate massage combined with “smokeable herbs”.

I didn’t know such heights of pleasure were possible and i was a weekly/bi weekly user of poppers from 2014 to 2016.

Sometimes I would get bad batches, “flat bottles” I would call them. But upon reordering elsewhere I would be fortunate and receive very good products indeed. Sometimes they leaked as such.

Also I was physically fit which no doubt assisted the optimisation of the effects. I could bench press 140kg and deadlift 240kg for many reps so my hormone function was undoubtedly in the zone as such.

I got an email from liquid gold informing me of the ban on the old chemical formula in 2016… so I purchased 300 bottles.. they were soon gone.. somehow.

Since then everything has proven to be a waste of money, with no pro sexual effects beyond the first inhalation , which is mild and unremarkable.
The appears to be no viable options anywhere for purchase now… it’s over it seems.

I enjoy frequenting these forums as it’s interesting to hear from other people and the experts on chemistry, even if they are not always in agreement.

It was great while it lasted.

A bit like the artificial flavours and colours from the 70s used in food, like in bright orange fizzy drinks , !!!!! The list is endless
If ever the original formula comes back please post on here !! As the chemicals used still exist out there !! If only I could make my own lol

Until I bought my recent bottles of JJGold Triple Distilled from LockerRoom Canada, I had given up hope, both making amyl nitrite and buying ready made ones OTC.

I have opened ONLY two of the 3- 30 ml bottles....purchased at least 6 weeks ago....and I stand amazed that they are still POTENT enough to have fun. In fact, I just tried one I had poured off into a 10 ml bottle weeks ago...and opened plenty of time....and the potency with repeat hits turned into a very submersive de ja vue bathhouse experience I had in 2009. There are NO side effects....no crazy heart beat...no fatigue, no blue lips/nails. The stuff LASTS forever.....which was not true of Joe Miller's poppers in the period 2008-10. BUT these have very similar effects. Gooning sniffing straight from a 10 ml bottle. The gooned out effect while taking a monster cock at the bathhouse is what got me totally addicted to poppers. BUT that GOONING had NO side effects. All home brew and all OTC poppers, since 2010, have had bad side effects OR been so weak as to not be effective.

Some of stated there were periods they have gotten good poppers after 2010, but they don't say what type, who made them or offer much info that's helpful. Up to 2010, Joe Miller was the world's supplier of good poppers. That's a fact. Apparently he made them in Indiana.

Locker Room makes theirs in BC Canada and I can vouch they know how to make them...and they are VERY VERY similar to the amyl I have made in terms of effects.

I bought LockerRoom's poppers a few years ago...and wasn't totally satisfied with them, although they weren't terrible. I made 4 separate buys...the last arrived dead, so I stopped buying.

Something is very different with this new purchase...smelled a bit sour/musty upon opening, but even that scent has abated a lot and turned more neutral. There is nothing visible in the bottles...fluid is transparent light yellow in color. I am impressed enough that I would LOVE to work for them.

I haven't bought any in about 3 years.

I think I used poppershop, got a nice tray of 15 bottles or so, chest was awful.
All bottles were different but all sucked.

Left it for a while due to how tight my chest was, wheezy cough if I even breathed slightly deep.

Last year, thought why not; cracked another bottle open, felt a slight buzz then nothing. Literally 0 effect but oh boy did the wheezy chest issues hit a few hours later, absolutely gross.

Weird thing is, I was seeing a Domme about 7 years ago and she'd always send me home with a couple of bottles she stored in her fridge, a little porno mix dvd and photo album from our sessions, her stuff never once gave me a bad chest, even when sniffing in her presence - she would tip them onto a pad, at home I'd go straight from the bottle, no effect
