delivered very quick, no issues. price was quite high

bottle was opened and first hit was mild
and had a small loss of inhibitions.
but very very mild. tried a session with the bottles and was ok.
tried in a larger container and it floored me, not in a good way, in a I'm going to pass out way.

went off in larger container after a day.
little side effects which is a big deal for me.

overall
decent for bottoming.
minimal/no sexual desire on them.
went off quickly.
minimal side effect.

bang average popper/but better than most others on the market

I've tried every Double Scorpio product. They all smell good but have awful performance. As poppers they suck. The guy who makes it is supposed to have a industrial chemistry degree. Well maybe so but he or they are terrible at making poppers. Terrible poppers.

@captain hook. I agree they are not very good, but better than all others I have tried, (not tried all USA brands). minimum side effects in terms of horrible flue like symptoms you get with some.

I won't be rushing back to get more, I won't be buying any more poppers for a while, please guys if you find a brand that stands out by a mile and doesn't make you ill please post a review.

I was about to post a review of Double Scorpio White Gold myself.
I recently bought a bottle for £25 in Soho, London.

I honestly think it is superb!!! And as good as any bottle I ever did.

It’s a butyl blend and I’ve always found butyl to give less side effects and more positive trippy effects (eg time dilation) than pentyl/isoamyl.

I had minimal side effects from it and I had 5 popperbating sessions over 10 days.

The great thing about a good butyl is it is progressive and the more you hit it, the higher you get. Yet it is smooth too.

I found even if I hit it more than I should have (which I tend to do, it didn’t give me particularly noticeable bad side effects.

I did throw away the bottle after 10 days because otherwise I’d have kept on doing it. And I hadn’t refrigerated it so it would have been deteriorating during that time.

Still I bet I will do it again…

I’d be interested to hear how people think Double Scorpio compares with Goldencock Poppers and Artisanal Cleaners (if the latter resume operations). For me it seems smoother / less toxic, but that’s just a hunch not a recent comparison.

I did not try decanting / sippy cup method. I was just sniffing from the bottle.

I already felt that the poppers were wasted on solo popperbating and if I did them again I should make sure to have another human being physically present in the room! Which in my case would be a domme. I feel like really good poppers are rather wasted on solo sessions.

I remember when Double Scorpio first hit the market. Something like 6-7 years ago if I remember correctly. They had raving reviews at the time. Maybe they started putting too much effort in adding scents to the bottles. And had less focus on the actual potency of the product.

The best I have had has been DS but I live close to where they are made. I think that the freshness of them is the biggest difference you are all having. I order them directly.

For the record, DS white gold is the only popper that I have purchase that smells fresh and the way that it should. Most others carry a strong odor of their base alcohol, which is so prevalent that some people think poppers should smell chemically or like markers instead of fruity or minty fresh.

I have twice purchased DS from the manufacturer. Both bottles were exceptionally weak. Markers are cheaper and offer a better high.

I've been making poppers for 11 years. I have one quart of butanol and 500 mls of 1-pentanol right now....neither will produce a potent, good smelling popper.....BECAUSE they are not pure enough. You absolutely have to distill if you aren't using the purest alcohols possible.

Butyl nitrite, when it's pure, will permeate a room, making it smell like a freshly deodorized locker room. If it doesn't do that, it's not pure butyl.

LockerRoom Marketing makes a popper they claim is "triple distilled". I just ordered it and will provide feedback when and if received.

Hey Wenis, here in the UK it has been illegal to buy isobutyl poppers for over a decade. Only really shitty and poisonous isopropyl eg Liquid Gold has been available in shops.

Now a few shops are taking the risk and stocking Double Scorpio so it’s not surprising it’s going to get rave reviews considering the legal alternative!
