Thomas the chemist jerk can belly ache and bitch all he wants, but I just made the MOST astounding IPN, using old sodium nitrite from Duda in Alabama, the 3 to 4 part formula, and one additional wash step, where I used 3 cold water rinses with STIR bar followed by 3 brine/baking soda rinses with STIR bar.

Odor: mild, not very sweet, aromatic, not very remarkable, not unpleasant.

Effects: Extremely potent - like being the lead horse at a horse race. It's over the top energy and excitement.

Total ass relaxation with gap that allows a fist full of crisco or Vaseliine to be shoved right up with no resistance.

Dildo cannot plow fast enough.

ZERO toxic effects....go from 100mph to zero in 5 minutes and then feel total normal and ready to go again. No visual circle. No fucked up vision/hearing or anything weird and uncomfortable.

This is it BABY!!!

And I make these claims after making the worst IPN over and over again. It gave horrible toxic effects, smelled bitter/sweet and didn't last. I thought IPN had to be total garbage. I proved myself wrong. It's just VERY VERY likely to have toxic impurities if made improperly.....especially if insufficient acid is used AND if it's not neutralized sufficiently. And the temps MATTER. I made mine outside with above freezing temps...and it's absolutely stellar. Super cold temps making IPN give a scant yield with toxic effects. I know...I've tried that route over and over again.

for YEARS you've been claiming that the best IPN or BN has a very sweet aroma. It was conveyed to you that IPN doesn't smell sweet; sweetness is from NITRATE, not NITRITE and you fought that all the way uip your ass.

Now, you accidentally make something that's not sweet, but STILL not very pure, and very likely to have not fully reacted the alcohol (IPN is highly reactive; more so than Nitric Oxide (the ingredient in poppers that give the vasodilation effect).

With pure IPN, you are not only getting the MAXIMUM possible dose of NO, but those effects are compounded by the blood pressure dropping and heart rate boosting effects of the parent alcohol).

folks, this guy has gone from bad to worse; trying to defend his ignorant rantings on the prep for OVER a decade; arguing BOTH sides of an issue without slowing down long enough to realize that not one person in 12 years has replied in confirmation to any of his ideas.

Absolutely NOT.....as any true scientist, I am reacting to new empirical information as I collect it through experimentation.

That's exactly why I have changed my opinion about why both N-butyl nitrite and isopropyl nitrite can cause such horrible immediate side effects. Isobutyl nitrite can too.

It's due to TOXIC impurities occurring from improper mixing and/or degraded reagents.

So I am saying that all the common nitrites are probably OK if pure enough...or at least NOT possessing toxic impurities.

And WOW...the IPN I made yesterday is firing on all cylinders today. It's PERFECT!!! Low odor and wonderful effects....ZERO eye circle or low blood pressure. It's so easy to make and acquire the reagents. Cheap and EASY!!!

That idea of his didn't pan out. also, take into account, reader, that ken has inhaled pyridine (as a stabilizer in some factory alkyl nitrite that he bought).

three things.

1 Pyridine smells like rotten fish in vinegar; it's nauseating
2. Butanol has a crisp solvent smell
3. alkyl nitrites decompose to their parent alcohol

Given that street samples of poppers typically contain 15-40 percent parent alcohol, it wasn't dangerous to try it; the product just smelled more like OTC decomposed stuff.

Needless to day, his idea was useless, again, and his protestations that excess butanol was the worst smelling popper he had ever tried was laughable (unless you like the smell of rotten fish).

That day confirmed for me, back in 2012 or so, that ken was a lying manipulator.
