Exactly what it says in the title, new to poppers and a coworker said he makes his own "n-butyl acetate" and would gladly share some. Just googling dosent come up with much i could find so looking for other opinions :-)

Um, i think he must be confused, or maybe you heard wrong. I heard of Butyl Nitrite which is good stuff. But NOT butyl acetate, Butyl acetate is what is used in nail polish it stinks like shit and has as nasty chemical smell and has absolutely no positive effects. Butyl acetate is not poppers and cant be used as such

I think you might be thinking of Acetone.......
AceTATES are compounds that are used for various aromas in baking, among other things. Butyl acetate smells like sweet banana.

You are correct in that there are no effects other than aroma
