(I hope a post like this is ok!!!)

I'm trying to import AMYL 24ml from popperaromas.eu but I need a prescription so it doesn't get seized by customs.

I don't really feel like blindly picking a doctor for them to have no clue what amyl is and refuse to prescribe it.

It doesn't even need to be a LGBT doctor, it can be any random who you had to introduce the topic to at first!!

Needs to be bulk-billed and telehealth-enabled btw.

(Again I hope this is ok, thanks guys :-)

My response to your question is: Why would you want a prescription? Poppers have never been intercepted by customs (and I have imported around 15 times over the last 10 years). So 15/15 success rate.

Also, I'd find it too embarrassing to ask a GP for a prescription. I don't think I could muster the courage to ask such a thing.

Poppers are not on the DEA list of scheduled drugs. They are not illegal unless they are marked for human consumption, which none of them are. The amyl group is only illegal if used for human consumption without a prescription. Since no amyl poppers are designated for human consumption/inhalation, they are legal. Laws vary by country, but in the USA, poppers are not what custom's officers are seeking. They are seeking hard drugs, illegally imported prescription drugs and counterfeit goods

Hi Michael, my package from popperaromas has actually been seized quite a few times!! I don't even get a phone call from customs, nothing, tracking just say "International arrival - awaiting clearance" and I never get my package.

Nitritespecialist: in Australia, amyl nitrite is indeed schedule 4.
This happened back in 2020, the same time a law was passed that bans isopropyl nitrite.

Also Michael, how was Anamyl?

@ uinstitches,

To answer your question, I tried it one time. I was somewhat disappointed. I was excited for a unique Australian product, but the effects were minimal.

I'm not sure whether it was IBN or some form of Amyl, but it was thankfully not isopropyl.

I haven't tried the other bottles which were sent, so I haven't formed a final opinion yet.

Customer service was top knotch and at least it wasn't isopropyl.

imported prescription drugs

Amyl nitrite is a prescription only medicine in the US, used for angina, snake bites, and cyanide poisoning. Old fashioned, but still prescription only. If it is amyl nitrite you cannot import it, regardless of what the label says.

Canadians used to send amyl nitrite and got caught. Better poppers are made from butyl and are legal.

@ uinstitches: On what basis would any GP prescribe amyl nitrite, given he/she knows that you will be using the drug for recreational purposes + probably suffer some minor side effects.

I just can't imagine how you would persuade any GP?

Hi Rick. So far I've obtained 2 scripts for "AMYL NITRITE INHALATION: For inhallation to prevent anal trauma." (that's it's medical use, and exactly what is written on the script...) and this particular doctor actually brands himself a gay doctor and advertises on his website about the new AMYL NITRITE laws in Australia and how he's able to write prescriptions. However I've since moved to a different state. So I can no longer see him. I never persuaded a script out of him, nor would I need to persuade any doctor. I'd just say I need AMYL to prevent anal trauma (as stated above). I'm fairly certain he wouldn't care if I wasn't receiving anal sex while inhaling amyl, but was instead masturbating.

@uinstitches
Under the current Medicare rules you could arrange to have a telehealth consult with the GP you have found.
Technically amyl is S3 since Feb 2030, the problem is there is no supplier for pharmacies to order from to make the pharmacist only over the counter sale which S3 permits, so a script is a good idea to produce for Borderforce if needed.
I managed to get the shipper to give me the contact for Borderforce when my package of Tadalafil failed to arrive, I was then able to send a script and it was delivered to me. Next time I ended the Indian supplier included a copy of the script in the package, sndI had no problem.
Idobutyl, butyl etc is S4, so definitelyetc is
