My new OTC poppers are confirming one thing.....isoamyl/isopentyl nitrite are not great poppers because they don't provide a euphoric/mental slutty effect - there are strong physical effects...but NOT mental effects. So...even though I'm not 100% sure yet, I pretty sure that normal amyl nitrite is the version that does give both mental/physical effects. It's similar with n-butyl nitrite. NB gives both the mental/physical but isobutyl nitrite. I tested 100 mls of IBN from TCI and it never gave me a slutty feeling....it just relaxed my ass and caved my blood pressure, making me hit a wall my body would not climb.

Typo....normal butyl nitrite gives both mental/physical effects, but isobutyl nitrites does not....at least not in my body.

I bought 25 mls of Butyl nitrite from TCI and at first, it made me hit a wall of low blood pressure....that is until I washed the nitric acid out of it, which was causing my finger to turn yellow. After washing, it was fun in a bottle...mental plus physical. But it didn't last long before it went dead...no more than 24 hours.

Nitric acid is NOT a decomposition product of any nitrite.

I've posted the possible decomposition products, as well as possible side-reactions during preparation, in response to a comment you made that it was impossible to know these things.

A THEORY needs credible supporting evidence

Personal assertions are NOT credible evidence
