hi folks,

i started with pp 4y ago (yes!), and for a while the effects were perfect, an extreme feeling within genitals...

and, yes, some side effects, too

a didnt abuse it too frequently, but when i bought several new products, the effect was different, low, only heartbeat.

i never found an effective product again.

Which products did you buy, Rudi? From reading these pages it seems clear there are numerous new formulas now available.

@Rudi.....the subject of ineffective poppers is complex. It's hard to say if they have become ineffective because they are the wrong type of nitrite, or have too many undesirable impurities or both.

There is such a thing as tolerance to a drug....or less pleasure felt as the nerves/neurons become "desensitized" from a steady session/high. But in my experience, if the poppers are high quality n-amyl or isoamyl nitrite, then the feeling of tolerance shouldn't be very long lasting, certainly not more than a day. I shall add....that sometimes perceived intolerance is to do the body rejecting toxic impurities/effects from bad nitrites. For instance, I've had toxic poppers that seemed to relax my ass one time and then not have much effect 5 or 10 minutes later. High quality poppers should relax your ass regardless - even if it's not accompanied by a heady high.

i bought several products sold as "Jungle juice" "Amyl" "Hardware" etc. online at tomrockets.com. All together about 10 several products within 2years.

If helpful, i'd give more product names...

The problem is, i dont think that my sensations were blunted from one day on. The "big change" to low effect happened in about 2018

rudi68germany said on Thu, 18 Mar 2021 at 21:14...

about tolerance: i had considered that, yes. I had given up using any poppers for 4-8 weeks to 'self test' a tolerance effect somehow. Maybe the general effects to circulation were slightly higher afterwards for 1 or 2 attempts. But the original effect ans sensations did not appear again. So i tried the procefure with various products.

Yes, there were differences, especially sky side effects, but no success.

@Rudi....I think the basic problem is both type of nitrite and quality of nitrite. Apparently every user worldwide is facing those issues. It's always going to be hit and miss in such circumstances.

From my personal experience, high quality normal amyl nitrite made with high quality sodium nitrite provides the optimal popper experience. You would have to search very hard to find such a product. You can buy pentyl nitrite already made via TCI or some other large chemical company, but you will pay a huge price and have to find a middleman who will send to you. And you might have to remove any acids by washing in brine/baking soda and then drying on anhydrous sodium or potassium carbonate.

As you can see, you have to REALLY love poppers to be motivated enough to do all this.

Nitritespecialist said on Thu, 18 Mar 2021 at 21:40...

@Rudi....I looked at that German website you mentioned. They do have "pentyl nitrite" listed poppers as well as isoamyl. You might try those. Word of caution...pentyl nitrite is better than ISOamyl/isopentyl. But the label might not be accurate in any case.

For instance, a label might say "pentyl nitrite" but in fact be isopenty/isoamyl nitrite, which is NOT an identical popper.

Same experience as rudi68germany.
I believe the manufacturers, in particular Lockerroom, changed their formulas within the last years. In my case, it's definitely not because I got used to it. Order number x was great and order number x+1 was crap, experienced with various JungleJuice brands from Lockerroom within the last years.

Nitritespecialist said on Thu, 18 Mar 2021 at 23:29...

@sb....the manager at Lockerroom, Mkt in BC, told me there are 100% fakes out there, using their identical packaging.

So..you might have purchased fakes that looked legit.

i appretiate your experience and ill order a pentyl nitrite product "Fist fuel" to try that. There is also a new Product containing hexylnitrit ("High rise";-); the effects are described as "stronger effect" and no harmful side effects on eyes and skin.

Experiences?

so.. said on Fri, 19 Mar 2021 at 00:56...

nevertheless, if i understand it clearly: there is a possibility that my problem has to do with low quality oder fake products?

The situation is very confusing. Sure LR products are copied in China, just like everything else. But even the brand names.. without LR.. can be different. So Jungle Juice Plus in the United States does not contain pentyl. Rush in the UK contains IPN, and Chinese origin copies contain mixes.

One other point: well, manufacturers could be making different formula for different markets? You know Rush was once "liquid incense" then 'nail polish remover" and now "solvent" I think. There are so many varieties with the word Rush in them...Rush Black Label...Rush White etc etc.

One thing for sure: if it says alkyl nitrite you have no idea what the formula is. And more confusion....some alkyl nitrite labels are great...some total crap. It is best to find a brand you like, from a particular retailer and stick with it.

Nitritespecialist said on Fri, 19 Mar 2021 at 20:16...

@everyone.....for sure NO labels can be trusted and so the contents can never be known except by chemical analyzer. Lockerroom, Mkt in BC, Canada has been in business for 20 years. I would probably try to find a place that stocks their "legit" products first. The isoamyl poppers from France seem to be of dubious quality as one person said they always stink of camphor.

so said on Sat, 20 Mar 2021 at 10:46...

in result my opinion is that this poppers shops failed to give the real knowledge to sell more than randomized qualities with more ore less useless brandings.

Internet forums with customer ratings cannot replace something like a real professionsl quality testing and certification process supplying users with correct products.

The wide variety of hundered of little bottles with funny stickers doesnt really help.

Rudi68Germany said on Sat, 20 Mar 2021 at 20:07...

no idea why- ithought i had wrote something more, bug seems to be an error.

I think there is a customer demand to increase the quality and safety of accurate product information.

I have repeatingly the experience that i ordered bottles with cute stickers, similar names as 2y ago, but there is neither the desired effect nor the discomfort with side effects.

There is something like an effect triggering memories of past effects experiences years ago.

Im sure - its unfortunally more or less unqualified product information.

what i wonder, too said on Sun, 21 Mar 2021 at 12:36...

2,3 years ago, rush had quite strong side effects to my vision. Also this side effects have vanished completely.

classic formula said on Wed, 24 Mar 2021 at 16:58...

I have noticed too that poppers is not as effective as last year and before that. But before you could use only one third of the bottle and now half of the botlle. In my opinion even isopropyl is now slow to start.

But I have noticed too, that poppers formula is changing all the time and the older is never coming back. That's why I wonder what is their classic formula.
