What is this doing in my poppers, and how is it affecting my body?

If you need to ask, you don't want to know!!!!

Itís Isopentanol (amyl alcohol), and itís also used in perfumes and food flavourings so likely wonít fuck you up too much. Itís one of the ingredients used to make amyl nitrite.

Guessing it may have either been added in excess to modify the volatility and stabilise the nitrite, or just left over from incomplete manufacturing reaction. Either way, good on them for putting it on the label.
