I would only like to comment on the CAS you've posted.
That CAS number is NOT AMYL but it is PENTYL!

463-04-7 is n-amyl nitrite or pentyl nitrite. Just look up the synonyms

ISOpentyl or isoamyl are NOT what you want because they aren't as good.

Could you please help me check the synonyms?
I might have messed up on my research over the years about the synonyms but in my knowledge:

CAS - 110-46-3
Amyl/Isoamyl/Isopentyl

CAS - 463-04-7
Pentyl/n-pentyl

So you say that:
First Group: Pentyl/n-Pentyl (110-46-3) is n-Amyl
Second Group: Isoamyl/Isopentyl (110-46-3)

Yes....pentyl and amyl nitrite are the same exact compound. Only when there is the prefix ISO is it different. There are at least eight isomers of amyl alcohol. N(normal) amyl alcohol is straight chained and is the exact same as pentyl or one-pentanol. They've got umteen synonyms for the exact same chemical. BUT if it's an ISO-mer, it's different from the "parent" or normal compound.
