It's 18 months since I used poppers. I'm feeling the pull to use them again. But I had really bad side-effects from isopentyl bottles like Radikal Rush. Made my anxiety much worse and just generally felt like I was poisoning myself. Had a nasty sluggish heavy feeling in my body.

If I try amyl, will it be a cleaner experience?

How are the amyls from Poppers-Aromas?

Meldrew said on Sun, 22 Dec 2019 at 09:14...

Are you sure it is poppers, Roger. I think we are all feeling the effects of "festive anxiety". We all want to make Christmas special, and have a grand old time, like Victoria and David Beckham, or The Trumps. Will we? No. Let reality cool your fevered festive brow.

errr..he said 18 month back...so that would be April.

I think impurities in poppers make the side effects worse, plus isopropyl and isobutyl are more toxic to my blood pressure mechanisms. For example, after just 10 minutes and 3 mls of isopropyl nitrite, I hit a wall, blood pressure too low and I just had to quit. It was fun up until then.

With amyl, I just hit it constantly and hardly ever hit a wall.

Roger That said on Thu, 26 Dec 2019 at 23:38...

Okay, and do you find amyl is cleaner than isopentyl? (E.g. Radikal Rush, High Rise, etc).

male25gr said on Fri, 27 Dec 2019 at 17:59...

@Roger That

Amyl is indeed better than pentyl and propyl (the downside is the progression of the initial hit).

Amyl and Isopentyl are the same.
Highrise is Pentyl!
I personally prefer Amyl and Pentyl to Propyl (in that order of preference).

Radikal Rush is not manufactured by PWD but from Push (like all the Radikal line).
There are some issues reported on Push formulas (As there are on mostly all manufacturers).

Let's assume this product or manufacturing process doesn't gets along with your system.

Try out a clean Amyl (Isopentyl) formula and you'll be fine

Thanks, male25gr.

You're really sure amyl and isopentyl are the same? I never knew that!

I used to hit Radikal Rush and Titanium 30ml bottles really hard, for 4, 5, 6 hour popperbating sessions. And yes it got me high but my anxiety levels were through the roof. And honestly I don't think it ever was as powerful/trippy as the old isobutyls of before 2012. But then again, the isobutyls I tried around 2015-6, made in France, were like battery acid, rotting my brain and burning my lungs.

I tried some Pure Amyl from Poppers-Aromas in the past too but I don't remember it being the same as Radikal Rush. Thanks for the insight that the difference could be due to a dissimilar manufacturing process - and maybe they use some different additives, or it has different impurities, etc.

To be honest I think the problem I had is 4, 5, 6 hour popperbating sessions with ANY type of popper are going to lead to serious side effects! And if I'm not cumming before then, it's not doing my arousal process, my dick-brain connection, much good either. So if I do use poppers again, I'd need to put a time limit on sesisons!

male25gr said on Fri, 27 Dec 2019 at 23:39...

@Roger That

Check out my other post regarding amyl and isopentyl.
Both have the same CAS, so i'm positive they're the exact same nitrites.

If you were hitting those poppers for so long day by day, then you might have depleted your oxygenated iron.
One way to measure your stress levels is by measuring:
1) Heart Rate Variability, also termed as heart load factor, that is calculated continuously from the heart beats record.
2) Deoxygenated Hemoglobin (=blood with bad oxygen saturation).

So hitting those poppers for so long and day by day for sure it can make your body's stress levels sky through the roof.

I personally use brands like Amsterdam, JJ, LockerRoom etc
Those are many years around (if they were impure manufacturers i suppose they would have faced consequences on their sales already).

Start with the best popper you can find and with smaller time windows, and after that you can judge how you should proceed.

Roger That said on Sat, 28 Dec 2019 at 11:43...

Thanks for your reply, male25gr. I wasn't having poppers sessions very often because they were so intense, but when I did it definitely put/kept my body in a very stressed state.

Basically I was using poppers like they were weed... Hitting them again and again to get me into a state of mind and to keep me in that state for multiple hours. But poppers aren't intended to have such a long duration.

To reduce the toxic effect on my body, really I would have been better off smoking a bit of weed, and then just taking a small number of hits of poppers!

It's now 18 months since I used poppers at all. I can recommend a fantastic cure for anyone who wants to recover from past poppers abuse, and that's Bikram Yoga! It really strengthens your respiratory system and connects you to your life-force energy. And participating in a class is pretty much the exact opposite of popperbating alone in your bedroom.

And yet now I've stopped doing it, the cravings for the drug/porn high are on me again....

On my reading list is "Never Enough: the neuroscience and experience of addiction (The Addicted Brain)" by Judith Grisel. Hope to read it before/instead of my next poppers binge.

Just curious what's the best Amyl product to try over at Poppers Aromas for someone only using Isobutyle Nitrite or Nitrate. I've heard it's hit or miss when delivering to the USA. Any thoughts are appreciated.

male25gr said on Thu, 2 Jan 2020 at 23:38...

@Crack licker
The best amyl product is a bit subjective.
However i can suggest you products which in my opinion are the best amyl you can get from that site, but each one hits you in a slightly different way so you have to try them and check out that amyl works well with your body.

In order of personal preference:
1) Amyl 24ml from Dragon Factory (Portugal)
2) Jungle Juice GOLD AMYL 24ml from PWD / LockerRoom (Canada)
2) Pur Amyl 13ml from Jolt (France)
3) Everest Premium 13ml (France)

Is this the Dragon bottle?

Incidentally - Oh look, a copycat site of Poppers-Aromas.eu !

male25gr said on Sat, 4 Jan 2020 at 11:28...

That's the brand but not the Amyl product.
The one you've chose is Pentyl.

That's the one I was referring to.

Hi, I am new to poppers and wondering if anyone here knows where and how I can order authentic amyl nitrite poppers inside of EU?

After having spent the whole day reading this forum and come to know more about these compounds (and some horrible eye-damaging side-effects I was not aware of), it is now clear to me that I don't want to order any brand of poppers containing 1. isopropyl-nitrate (or Isobutyl) and 2. some fake brand manufactured in China designed for the EU market.

Earlier today I ordered what I thought was the original PWD Rush brand (said to contain Pentyl Nitrite - aka amyl nitrite - by the website) only to realise that the bottle doesn't resemble the original one as seen on the neverfakeit . com website. This fake PWD Rush is manufactured by a company called Push poppers.

Annoying! I'm not sure I'll get a refund. All these EU website seems very shady and disingenuous, not to say immoral since they are knowingly obscuring the fact that these new products can cause serious harm!

So, in conclusion, I am looking for real amyl nitrite inside of EU without the Isopropyl. I heard about oldbrownbottles, but that's only in America, unfortunately. Unless you have connections or make it yourself, is the EU market for authentic amyl dead?

Scan said on Sun, 5 Jan 2020 at 17:45... said on Sun, 5 Jan 2020 at 21:15...

I suppose I could rephrase my question and simply ask... is there any decent website selling what is BELIEVED to be authentic amyl-nitrite FREE from isopropyl? I just want to be careful about my eyes. Happy new year everybody.

male25gr said on Sun, 5 Jan 2020 at 18:53... said on Sun, 5 Jan 2020 at 21:16...

First of all, Pentyl Nitrite is NOT the same as Amyl nitrite.
You can check out my recent thread for further details:

- Amyl/Isoamyl/Isopentyl are the same (CAS 110-46-3)
- Pentyl/n-Pentyl (CAS 463-04-7)

1) Many websites are using outdated pictures of their products, that may be alerting to avoid the product or even change to a better supplier.

2) As long as the website states the manufacturer of the product, i don't see it as a scam for a website to dispose that popper.

3) Push Poppers is known to have cloned labels from pwd and other manufacturers as well. I don't recommend a brand using this kind of misleading marketing tactics.
To be fair their composition may be or not ok (manufacturing process does not depends on marketing tactics). You have to be careful as copied labels may not have the same chemicals as the original product.
My personal belief is that if a company is based on misleading marketing to get better sales then i skip. There's no guarantee that the chemical stated on the label is the one inside the bottle.
They might even manufacture one recipe of each nitrite and just use different labels for their entire range.

Regarding the Amyl part of your question, there are plenty of websites selling Amyl poppers in EU.
In order of personal preference:
1) Amyl 24ml from Dragon Factory (Portugal)
2) Jungle Juice GOLD AMYL 24ml from PWD / LockerRoom (Canada)
2) Pur Amyl 13ml from Jolt (France)
3) Everest Premium 13ml from Everest (France)

Thank you for your quick and informative response.

I checked out your thread earlier today. I probably should have reread it before assuming Pentyl Nitrite and Amyl Nitrite was the same. My apologies for my noob questions.

Regarding "fake"-poppers. Yes, you are right. Before today I had no real knowledge about the poppers "scene". I just assumed that if a product is labelled, say, PWD Rush, looks like PWD Rush - it must indeed be PWD Rush! It is true though; the website did write Push Poppers was the manufacturer. Just confusing. But this imitation-thing is not exclusive to Poppers but products in today's world in general, I guess.

I ordered Amyl and Everest Premium based on your recommendation in a previous thread. All the best

Please post a review with your opinion about each product after some sessions.

But you had the right feeling: you really was poisoning yourself. By the way Radikal rush is amyl and very strong.

I just wish people would cut the fucking science lectures and just post links to where you get the good shit. For fuck sakes! I mean over at Reddit. They won't even let you post links anymore to where you can buy stuff that's good.

@Roger said on Fri, 23 Apr 2021 at 23:39...

@Roger. Yoga or Poppers? I will take poppers. Can we please ban the anti Poppers/Porn comments on this forum/website. I'm an adult. I'll make my own choices. Don't need your sermons or lectures.

science lectures

The science lectures allow folks to be informed by people that know what they are talking about! If you want to read the "wow best poppers ever" bs or the "poppers caused my ingrowing toenail" bs...there is plenty of that.

All this chatter about pentyl and amyl is pointless, pentyl is here, it is good. Yes, you can find amyl nitrite as well.. but it is pot-luck.

Labels? Rush Pac-West Indiana 2010...Joseph Miller died...it all changed. The first on that gravy train were the Chinese, but others followed. Rush was "Liquid Incense" 2010 then "Nail Polish Remover" now "Solvent"...it is a pointless debate. Find a product you like, a retailer you like, and stick with it. Chasing after the "miracle wonder popper" is just so much bunk!

“In older literature, the common non-systematic name amyl was often used for the pentyl group. Conversely, the name pentyl was used for several five-carbon branched alkyl groups, distinguished by various prefixes.

A cyclopentyl group is a ring with the formula -C5H9.

Older "pentyl" groups

The following names are still used sometimes:

International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) decodes these names so internationally in the ER Klonopin is Rotrovil is Clonazepam is “IUPAC name
CAS Number

(And theres tons more chemspiders etc)

We needed a way for all people with all our language barriers could stop someone dying if the information is readily accessible asap.

Amyl is just an antiquated term 😇

Hi!-I remember what poppers were like in the eighties, nineties and right up to the horrible products now available.Poppers are legal in this country(Britain)-so why aren't they properly produced and scrutinised?-I'm sure that the trade makes millions.Consumers deserve more as a human right.Poppers are almost an essential for penetrative sex for gay men and many women; making it a human rights issue as stated in parliament by a highly regarded M.P. Personally my eyesight has been damaged by sniffing isobutle poppers.Everything was fine with amyl based products untill I experimented with isobutal (scuse my spelling!) immediatly after their use I now have a blind spot in my central vision that may or may not repair its self. This is a catastrophy.I am a visual artist that can no longer work.

How does pentyl nitrite compare to amyl nitrite?

BTW when I tried purchasing amyl from France it was confiscated by customs as it arrived in Australia and I was served notice for importing a prohibited substance.

Are poppers ok if mild heart problems

Ian said on Sun, 31 Dec 2023 at 12:35...

I'm so done with Amyl poppers as I am fed up of feeling my lung capacity diminish for 3 or 4 days after use, feeling breathless, lungs whistling, wheezing and rattling, and constantly coughing and spitting up lung fluid residue... cloudy white or yellowish gunk in the spit. It's horrible. Liquid Gold seems to be the worst for this, and also it just doesn't have the same effect during sex as it used to.

I am considering any other type of poppers, but I'm specifically looking for one that doesn't result in the side effect that I just mentioned, and also gives the best widest gaping dilation ever.
Any advice is appreciated.

Hi there, I only use Amyl or Pentyl poppers. But they stink! The stink really puts me off. Especially when the bottle has been open a few times after a week or so. May be that they have gone off or something but the smell just really negates the sexual high and others that I have sex with just get put off by the nasty smell. A few times, they have told me the smell lingered for ages in their homes - and for a few - the wife nearly found out!!!

So, my question is this. Is there a poppers brand which stinks the least either in amyl or pentyl? And which one lasts the longest without degrading into a horrible smell. I read pentyl evaporate slower than amyl so may be the better option?

Help! and Thanks Amigos.
