OK, so same question slightly different though. Once you open the bottle then you introduce ambient air, this will start the degrade process. All volatile nitrites START to degrade upon contact with the air. Make sure the cap is screwed back firmly. Watch out for too tight screwing though, as caps can crack.

Good for multiple use, but how long / many times? Depends on the quality of the nitrite. So I found a very old bottle of PWD Rush, it was still OK...sort of, you never know. But you will know once it is dud.
