Has any body tried any of the french Butyl poppers and what do you reckon. I have had sexline blue several times now and have found that to be the best. I know some, like blackout WERE butyl and have now changed to propyl. This thread is really aimed at french Butyl/Isobutyl products only. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Butyl Nitrite and Iso Butyl Nitrite are different, as far as I know BN hasn't been on the market for a long time. IBN replaced it in the 80's.
I've tried all the French stuff, but they've not got the formulation right. Tip, A bad sign is when a French sight starts selling UK Liquid Gold.

If there are two different formulations I expect to get the one I ordered. You don't buy a sausage labeled as pork, and get sold beef. So I guess the only thing to do is leave a message to the supplier asking for Isobutyl nitrite only and not to send isopropyl. Dabmaster, I didn't know french IBN was watered down, but I am not surprised as it isn't a patch on the 80's isobutyl. Totally out of order!

Yes all the french ibn formulas are watered down, they all contain 70% ibn and 30% isopentanol (Isobutyl Alcohol) the reason for this i dont no.

I bought Blackout from France a couple of years ago and it was watered down IBN. Then they changed Blackout to IPN? What are they playing at? They are also jumping on the 'Liquid Gold' bandwagon, which was the best IBN popper in the UK for 20 years until 2007.

I had really bad side-effects using French isobutyl like Sexline, Flag, Diablo, etc. A very nice high, but then weeks of coughing & restricted breath, & reduced mental functioning. Really the most poisoned I've ever felt. Even six months after using them I felt some damage still to my airways.

@ popperaddict thanks for the info on that coughing and restricted breath I have the same problem I just thought it was something else like because I smoke to much but now after reading your post makes me wondering I tried some jjplatinum that had the isobutyl in it are so the bottle said and now im thinking may be it is what cause the problem but I do think I got a little carried away with it I use a 30ml bottle in about two weeks are less and to at times I would dab a little on a couple of cotton ball and stick one in each side of my nose now I can say at the time it was an awesome relaxing feeling as long as the cotton was in there but like I said I think I left it to long because not long after that was when I notice the breathing problem and coughing any way just my two cents

I've switched to Radikal Rush which is pentyl. The high is very powerful but a bit different, I would say it's more 'body' than 'mind' compared to isobutyl. But no side effects at all, so I'd recommend it.

How about Ultimate from poppers-aroma. Stated as IBN have the correct CAS number and reminded me of the stuff I had in Dublin in the early 90s.

Haven't had anything like it since then. Only listed CAS is IBN whereas others I've had from France have listed CAS numbers of all other ingredients as well such as Pigblack.

May 2017 poppers from popperszone, Poppersaromas and sexy poppers are all pentyl nitrate regardless of brand label eg: jacked- rush- rush ultra-colt -blueboy and others(can only verify for bottles mentioned here) rush ultra says power pellet on cap but there is no pellet. So definitely knock offs ; but they do work with their claimed pentyl nitrate formula. Had jacked from previous from junglejuice europe labelled as isobutyl and was very strong but the next order from them of jacked was pentyl; i thought it was a typo on their end as labelled on thier site. So ya same formula in different bottles 😒

Recent order from poppers-aromas.eu of gate, tiger gold, ultimate and flag. All are really bad. Ultimate claims to be isobutyl, I doubt it. Gate claims to be amyl, came with a sticker on it listed as another ingredient. Flag also listed as isobutyl I doubt it. Tiger gold isopentyl and isoamyl mix. Tried them all ended up choking and coughing and seeing yellow spots when I blink. Couldn't even get hard. Horrible products. I used to get could poppers from poppers-aromas.eu but not for the last couple of years. Sadly the only other formula that's acceptable is pentyl. Bring back original isobutyl formulas.

Let's be honest and realistic here people (then I'll give you my review from a newbs perspective).. we're purchasing a chemical (no matter what shape or form) that gets us high in some capacity. The drug business is never going to be honest or in any way, consistent. I'm a hetero male who, to be honest, simply really enjoys both the effects of "uppers"... and sex. I'm a child of the 80's so I would have been too young to be involved in scene when a lot of people say "they made the real stuff" so I have nothing to compare to.. but I'm sure you veterans are telling the truth. If a chem is cheaper or easier to manufacture, production is going to shift to that chem... no matter the side effects (these companies aren't making this stuff so we can have fun.. they couldn't give a shit about our fun.. as long as the money is paid). There, said my piece ;-)

From a newbs honest perspective.. Wanted to try both Amyl and Butyl as no info was concrete on either formula or brand. The website shipped to Canada in 6 days with no problems, delays, hitches or questions. I picked up a vial of "Bear's Own" which is labelled as Iso Nitrite and also a vial labelled as 100% Amyl Nitrite which is just called "Amyl" with a little gas mask on the label.

I'm not a fan of headaches and I've seen a lot of comments from people advising this is a major side effect of some varieties so I've been quite timid on probably what some of you would consider an actual dose. I cracked the Bear's Own the day the package arrived and for the last week, I've been sneaking a whiff every once in a while. Just a light whiff so I can ease myself into the buzz. This stuff is labelled as Isopropyl.. solvent like smell.. no sweetness as Amyl has been described. Two things about this batch... would probably have a very intense high if I fully dosed however.. even a quick smell leaves me with the feeling that if I really honked on `er, my head would be splitting.

So cracked the "Amyl" tonight almost expecting the same thing but... not the same at all, in a good way :-) The vial dubbed as pure Amyl Nitrite does indeed have a very sweet smell, also.. the colouring matches most veteran descriptions and the decomp and odour when rolled between the fingers matches. A million times more powerful! I opened the vial and just waved it beneath my nose and took a quick, small breath in and wow... way stronger. I caught my first true taste of the popper high and not at all the same after effects. Is it Amyl? Is it "the real stuff from the 80s"? Who knows?? Probably not but anyway you slice it, it does the trick as it should.

I'm going to switch vials and enjoy the "Amyl", it may not be the real deal but whatever it is, it mimics the effects.

Just being honest. I found it so difficult to research straightforward reviews and info on this substance, I felt like I had to try and help another newb out.

I have ordered fro poppers-aromas Amyl and ultimate (labelled as butyl) I really enjoyed the amyl, and did not get the yellow dot in my central vision associated with isopropyl. I’m yet to try the ultimate.

Ultimate was not available for dispatch to France due to the ban on IBN.

Monk .here is some sensible info coming from a guy who has had real/original formula poppers. These poppers were bought from Europe and UK suppliers until they banned isobutyl and now the push isopropyl and pentyl(which they claim is amyl), and if you ever had the real stuff(original formula) you would know the difference. I too have wasted money trying these new concoctions and all I end up with is coughing and blurred vision and headaches. Lucky for me I found a site that gives me the stuff as close to that of the old days which you can find on this site; but I'm not telling.

I have now found hundreds of other negative reviews on other sites from customers warning not to use this dodgy company. When I asked them to cancel my order and refund they refused and were extremely rude to me over email - no customer service just rude and arrogant, please don't use them as you will be disappointed!
