Has anyone ever tried buying butyl or amyl nitrite from a chem supply house? Any info would be appreciated.

I'm not sure any but the big suppliers like Fischer will even have it, and they quote $132 for 25ml of amyl, so unless you're looking to buy in gallon quantities and become a reseller...?
Isopentyl nitrite, 97% is $31.65 for 25ml.
I think freshness would be an issue too.

PopperRetard once bought some and turned into his wishy washy bitch bipolar thing. He made the standard retarded claims like "smells of spearmint" and then went to "acrid odors." The guy is a bottom tier lab tech, so he probably did get the legit stuff from SA, but it might have contained no preservatives and would have then had about the same effects as his normal witch's brew. Look up the ingredients list or SDS on Sigma's site if in doubt.
