Beware of Old Lot numbers on LRM Poppers

I recently purchased 5 - 30 JJ Black from Poppers Aromas in France. They were offered at a slight discount so I bought them.

The lot numbers were H65 and H68. These lot numbers were the same lots numbers that were on bottles I had received 2 months prior, meaning they were old stock.

I have opened 4 bottles and they are far too acidic and my Kcarb and even washing has done little to save them. The best bottle lasted 4 days with decent effects. The other 3 are just bad despite my best efforts to improve them. A bottle is too acidic when it burns the nostril skin. It changes the whole experience for the worse. Hardly any ass relax for sure.

I won't be ordering from PA again. I have recommended them in the past, but instead of tossing old stock, they are merely selling it at slight discounts to unsuspecting consumers. Not a practice that instills consumer confidence.

Why bother importing. There are several small brewer options stateside that are butyl and amyl based - Goldencock, ArtisanalCleaners and ChicagoCleaners. I have tried all three. Any other micro brewers out there? I believe GoldenCock is Southwest, Artisanal in the South, and Chicago obvious Midwest. So no matter where you are in the US you can get reasonably local and have it at your door in a few days. You aren't some insatiable popper snob are you? Not trying to be a dick but this crap isn't that involved. Aside I can't understand why you struggle so much with homebrew. I made some up once of straight butyl with chems I got from a friend that manages a uni lab and the results were spot on my first time. I didn't bother beyond a few more times since it is a hell of a lot less work just to cough up a few bucks and order some from my almost local source (one of the three listed above - not going to mention which since I ain't a shill for nobody). I am not trolling you or anybody and certainly not being anal aggressive here. But what I think might be at play is overuse. That is why I am really strict to curtailing indulging to only a few times a month at most. I think this is a huge factor if you really want to maximize the joy. I suppose it is just like drinking. If you're drinking a few times a week vs a month, you are crossing over the line. Some quick googling will show that the effects are diminishing returns before your biology and your brain stops having the desired responses. At some point, even the best of the best that is super fresh will seem to you to be water. You need to understand this. I have experienced this and speaking from experience. Just sharing so don't you or anyone get bend over this, it is what it is. (period)

So of 5 bottles, I got 3 to 4 days worth of off and on fun....

@Strange.....I stopped making n-amyl nitrite because I got tired of the chemicals and mess, the uncertainty of the exact purity of each brew, the unpredictability due to variation and the impossibility of ever knowing what exactly was in each brew as its chemistry changes over time(the degradation process). I also stopped because LRM seems to make a decent amyl nitrite, but it has to be fresh. They provide lot numbers on each lid to ensure quality, but they apparently don't control their retailers.

I believe tolerance can develop, but should be gone within a few days. I never do any other drugs or alcohol, so I don't have interfering factors. But, if the odor is different(worse), it's most likely a chemical composition difference and if you have ten bottles made at various times and only one or a few are potent, then you know it's not a tolerance issue. Also, I believe all potent nitrites should relax the ass....at the very least....even if they are used frequently.
