Molecular sieve 3a desiccant help

I've bought 1 kg of 1/16 3a molecular sieves desicant and it's come in a bottle filled with what look like grey hundreds and thousands (the sweets sprinkled on top of ice creams)when I was expecting little balls or beads lol, anyway just wondering if any of the experts can tell me if they think I've bought the wrong thing.

Molecular sieves are usually available in bead (spheres of various mesh sizes), pellet (cylinders of various diameters) and powder.
