I've read lots of reviews and statements from others that strongly indicate that after Joe Miller died in 2010, poppers everywhere turned to shit. There are thousands of reviews on Poppers-aromas.eu where most customers are giving good ratings BUT some will say...good...but not as good as in the past. Lockerroom has been in business for over 20 years and they seem to know how to at least bottle and distribute poppers. Their packaging and product seems good on the surface. BUT isoamyl nitrite does not make a good popper because it doesn't give the mental effects. It's the same with isobutyl nitrite. They slam the body without making it seem worth it with a heady high. It's my contention that n-butyl nitrite and n-amyl nitrite are the two most likely to give crazy fun mental effects.

feedback from another maker in our group

"This is my new run with xxxxx. Used n ayml and isoayml and butyl alcohol. Very smooth dreamy high. Put only xxx of roughly xxx in container. Anymore and it gets too cold. This level keeps it at xxx.Very easy to control and no mess. No orange smoke at all. Getting better at this all the time. I’m very happy with my progress thanks to all you smart caring people on DIY."

as Dobby would say, STRONG EVIDENCE OF MY THEORY that nitritespecialist is wrong about IsoAmyl and Butyl nitrite

He is experimenting and adding feedback to the equation. It is welcome. You can disagree politely, why the need to be rude?

Nitritespecialist said on Fri, 16 Jul 2021 at 07:16...

He's rude because he has a superiority complex, a commercial interest in selling his methods/formula and the moderator allows cyber bullying.

I would add that anyone with a winning formula would quickly become ground zero, the number one place to buy. The Professor, his business clients(Artisanal) and his alleged legions of DIY fans are certainly NOT spear heading any suitable replacement for Joe Miller(PWD quality), other than to push the false claim that poppers are so easy to make that anyone can do it.

It should be obvious that when someone is making money off selling their methods and busy rounding up adoring DIY fans, then that person is NOT going to be objective, and honest about their motives or their actual results. Only their alleged successes will be offered up and promoted as if they are some Holy Grail.

I hope you do not feel that way. It just seems that this debate is very passionate! Maybe if you two guys got together for a beer you would really have a great time? I saw this once on an apiculture forum, those guys are also prone to this, beer solved the disagreement :-)

I strongly suspect 'Perpol' in the UK were using Joe's formula in their Liquid Gold poppers. They've been around since the 80s, a long established business.

The EU poked their noses in 3 years before 2010 and ruined the entertainment when they banned iso butyl nitrile replaced it with iso propyl nitrite AND forced the 'safety caps' onto the bottles which are annoying to say the least.

Your first assumption, that I would rush to profit from my knowledge, bellies your true intents. I have no doubt that you'd jump to profit, since I saw for myself how you texted on poppers place almost a decade ago, when you FIRST thought you had found some secret to 'of my god' as you used to say, level product.

So speak for yourself.

I have no 'business clients' with respect to making nitrites. I DID sell a preparation technique to an investor a few years back, but that wasn't restricted to nitrite preparation, it was a method of simultaneous preparation and 3 plate distillation, and chemistry is my job.

It's disingenuous to claim I'm biased because I have a job.

It's even more disingenuous to claim I have some nefarious connection to an outfit like artisanal simply because they stole an idea from a group of others that I'm on.

Simply put, the Tucker Carslon method.... Being some random conspiracy theory up.... Change the wording of ' might' to 'does'.... Claim that something's up because 'people are talking'....

That's nonsense, it reverses the burden of proof, and it's insidious.

When I get aggressively oppositional with you, it's because I've heard this from a friend of mine, coming from you, for more than a decade, and your posturing and pretending to be an expert is dangerous.

It's not an ad hominem attack to call you a charlatan (a person falsely claiming to have a special knowledge or skill; a fraud.), It is a personal assertions with provided supporting evidence. More than a decade of false claims and bravado; your going to get somebody hurt.

As to your attempts to discredit me, there's a saying "when you point type dinner, you have the more fingers pointing back at you"

That simple phrase explains how somebody often unwittingly reveals their y motives by the accusations they make against others.

@mam
The cyber built thing is something he has been trying out since Reddit, back when he had a new audience (after abandoning poppers place). Many people hasn't heard of popchef, so he started claiming he was being 'bullied' when he called him out on things.

E. G. He mentioned recently that a nitrite he purchased from a chemical supply company was better after he " washed the nitric acid" out of it. Nitric acid is NOT a degradation product, so he eventually becomes angered at all the corrections and contrary evidence against his claims.

Presenting facts isn't bullying, unless you are aiming to conceal the truth.
