Some great news (possibly) for Australians. New poppers are being made locally here, sold under the company name Anamyl.

https://www.anamyl.com/

As far as I know, this is the first time EVER poppers have been made in Australia. All others to date have imported their products.

The website is under-developed and is very basic, which makes me hesitant to order. The owners are definitely not out to impress with their visuals, but perhaps they have a good product?

Has anyone made a purchase from this site? Did the items arrive and what was your feedback?

I guarantee every bottle has the same content, just different coloured labels much like all the European product

I wouldn't touch 'em with a bargepole.

It doesn't matter if all 4 'label's have the same content. What matters is if they are good quality.

The honest truth is that no one knows. Let's wait and see if any feedback comes...

@Michael...true...what matters is the type and quality...not the label. The primary way potency/effects vary is due to type of nitrite and concentration of said nitrite. And there are a number of impurities that impart their own effects, some which can make the popper more toxic, less pleasurable or just ineffectual.

Nitritespecialist: Just try ANY UK poppers. Every single one of them is PROPYL with a different fancy-ass label. Pure kideology.

Australia is not a UK dominion anymore, L.Ron. The thread is about AUSTRALIA...check a globe or atlas if confused by reality.

@Michael: yes, nobody knows yet, especially the popper pommies :-) seems some people are quick to judge without having tried the product, or any chance of ever doing so!

Errr: I know where Australia is, I use to watch 'Skippy' in the 1970's on ITV

I prefer The Littlest Hobo. Dogs are more interesting than kangaroos.

Compare:

"Hobo comes across an old farmhouse where a young mute girl and her father are being blackmailed into conducting fake seances."

"A farmer and his mail-order bride seem incompatible."

"Hobo encourages a paraplegic boy to enter a Frisbee-throwing contest"

and Skippy?

"Finding a koala, Skippy helps it but it falls into a hole"

"Skippy and Sonny find a device which they think is a bomb, but is a pigeon racing clock"

"Sonny discovers two dead possums"

I quite like Men at Work, but Skippy....:-(

Well, it's pretty huge news that leather cleaners are being made in Australia for the first time. This is HUGE news.

I've now placed and order and communication from them was very fast and professional. It was a pleasant surprise, since the website was very basic and I was not sure if it was even genuine since there were no contact details other than an email address.

I intend to write a separate feedback post next week once I have tried the product. I don't know if they will ship overseas, but that is not a worry to me since I live in Australia.

Good to hear Michael. Yes, definitely let us know about your experience. In Australia too, and would love a product made here. Can you also try and ask them which nitrite/s they use in their products? Don't want any of that propyl 🙂

@R.Don
maybe they're making them down the old mine shaft?

What did you mean when you said: "maybe they're making them down the old mine shaft". I didn't follow.

Thanks!

There was a ghost down the "old mine shaft"? and some pesky kids with a weird dog, right?

@Dave I can tell you personally I don't use isopropyl at all in any of my products also all ANAMYL products are a different combination of amyl isoamyl butan and other analytical grade alcohols
