In the early days of the internet I remember some sort of "bulletin board"? No idea what it was called. There you could chat with folks and I was pretty awe struck at the time. I suspect that most of these places have been swallowed up by giant tech companies and "integrated". Personally I find it very annoying when they add some "cool" new feature that means everything changes. If it isn't broke...don't fix it!

You have to create a profile for both sites- popperbate is free but its a bit meh sometimes. They have a chatroom feature that is fun to access. For bateworld, you can create either a free or membership account. free is fine but wont get you access to their chatroom, although you do get a free month to experience full access- it was a very pleasant experience!

Yes, chatrooms are on all camming websites. “Camming” is a big deal, I think Netflix even have a show about Camgirls in the pipeline. They are all free, so with sites like Stripchat, Bongacams, or the classic: Chaturbate, you don't need to register to view. You can try! but most performers will not answer you. Chaturbate operates a color code system for users. Users without tokens are grey; there are apps that allow performers to block grey users, so they will not even see what you write. Chaturbate also has a PM (private message) function; technically anyone can use that at the performers discretion, but you need to be have membership to initiate the conversation with the performer.

Models / performers on Chaturbate are from anywhere that allows adult webcam. Philippines / Thailand for example do not allow it. Check out the Asian section and you will see relatively few models - so probably these guys live overseas.

Mainly the models are from Russia, Romania and Colombia. These guys usually work in professional studios. Folks from USA, UK, Germany, are independent models working from their home, although some are famous porn stars.
