There used to be a bunch of them until around 2016. Most have gone underground to stay under the radar. The popper business has become a “don’t ask don’t tell” business. I owned 3 sex shops on the Vegas strip up until about a year ago and we had a very hard time maintaining an inventory of products. The manufacturers are very secretive and picky about who they deal with and they don’t make themselves easily found. Your best bet is to contact an online store that has a relationship with a manufacturer and see if you can work out a deal.

@Jennings...and I suspect some USA makers are just rebottling large amounts of IBN from China. I used to buy from PictureBrite in CO, but they stopped the second Joe Miller(PWD) died in 2010. I think it's too hard for DIY'ers to scale up to the quantities that would be needed for retail sellers. You would need gallons of nitrites. Ideally, a flow cell would create a steady flow of product without relying upon large batches that would sit and spin in acid and water for hours, risking degradation of product before it's harvested.

You were buying direct from the manufacturers, I guess there are about 3-4 including PWD. I think Jennings means wholesalers...as these are the guys who actually sell the product. Just like in the past it was Pacific Western Distributing who sold Rush etc on behalf of Great Lakes Products. As far as I know there is a manufacturer in Philly, one in Nevada, one in Florida, and maybe one in Texas? Of course you gotta watch out that anyone you deal with is not packing Chinese junk. I also think that a bit of etiquette is required - I mean asking for poppers is not a great idea, leather cleaner, solvent cleaner, right?

@Madeplentypoppers IBN from China = a mixture of nitrites. This was confirmed by someone before who read one Chinese site that said "for gays" and they specifically stated that the formulas were blends. So it could be 5% iso-butyl and 90% isopropyl and 5% goodness knows what.

If the Chinese guys are exporting to Asia-Pacific then it would make sense they stick will IPN as places like New Zealand and Singapore (yep) allow only IPN.

For once spout-mouth is on the money. Poppers manufacturers sell to distributors. Distributors are cautious of high visibility sales that attract drama, so place a big sign outside your store saying "poppers sold here" and your calls will be ignored. Discrete is key in poppers retail, weird but true. No idea what state by state legislation says, but Las Vegas, or Nevada, you would expect to be pretty free and easy, maybe not. I know that MA is a tricky place for poppers.

Okay so from what I gather in this thread, I'm looking for manufacturers. I know about PWD now.
Does anyone know who actually makes JJ brands in the US? I see that there's a website Diantresolutions.com on the bottle, but it just redirects to a regular solvents website. I'm also curious about other brands too. For example, I see a Black Magic 30 ml solvent being sold on some websites. I know it's probably difficult to state on here but if anyone has any leads I'd love to know.
