I have no idea about that and I doubt anyone else does. So if you are taking this sedative for some reason, perhaps best to avoid poppers.

Whether there is a definite known pharmacological reaction, I am not sure. But this class of sedative is abused by certain users because of its effect. Combining alcohol and these sedatives is a big NO. It creates serious intoxication and danger. Using poppers which, if I understand correctly, causes a blood rush to the brain, in conjunction with Xanax seems to me to be reckless. If you want to use poppers safely then do not use them in conjunction with blood pressure medication, erectile dysfunction medicine (which is potentially deadly), or any other psychotropic prescribed medicine. I guess occasional recreational use is not going to present any major issues in healthy folks who are not using prescription meds.

I tried it once before reading this and it kinda sucked. Nothing special about it and I feel that Xanax dulled the whole experience. Better off without it but should be relatively safe to try out. I felt no adverse effects, it just wasn't enjoyable.
