Chinese poppers good or bad?

Last year I bought some 'English' poppers from TinyDeal.

A couple of the bottles had leaked, and I understand this is a recurring problem for this supplier.

However the good bottle was super-great. Very very smooth & took me to another dimension. I would say it's pure isobutyl, as good as Jungle Juice Plus 10ml leather cleaner from LockerRoom a couple of years ago.

But then some scare stories appeared, that Chinese poppers were unsafe, with lots of contaminants, etc. There were even a couple of photos that purported to proof this (though there weren't any bottles pictured).

I wonder if the 'Chinese poppers aren't safe' posts came from rival producers. Some of it seemed like "Yellow Peril" straightforward racism, too.

Why would Chinese isobutyl be any worse than European isopropyl, which we know can cause eye damage, as well as a nasty hangover, nose burn etc?

So..... Have you taken the 'risk' with Chinese poppers? Is it really a bigger risk to health than any other poppers? And is it a risk worth taking?

I bought from Tinydeal (Chinese Poppers) last year and my experiences:

The first batch was pretty good, Iron Horse was included and it felt like the real deal. However since then:

My 2nd, 3rd and 4th orders were crap (fruity) and very weak.
They also seem to have knocked down the prices since last year and they don't sell Iron Horse anymore.

My hangover effects:

Chinese Poppers were mild, very little headache, no breathing problems, slight fatigue.

Unlike EU formula IPN where I couldn't breath for 2 days and almost phoned for an ambulance.

I purchased 6 10ml bottles from Tiny Deal red bottle Liquid Aroma.None leaked were bubble wrapped in bubble wrap.And were great.No burn headaches toward the end of the bottle but 4.15 per.Great deal.Still nothing like the Canada pops but hey.Just ordered more only issue now is antipaction.Never saw English brand on TD.What do I search?

Thanks for your replies, guys. Particularly to Anonymous - sounds like Liquid Aroma is one to try, then. They might not sell the English brand any more.

Tosser del Mar, well, it seems like counterfeiting poppers is a worldwide thing, as we've seen with all the PWD clones and fakes.

I think there was a manufacturer's website address on the Chinese/Hong Kong bottles I had, though I don't remember it. Knowing who has made them might go a small way to alleviating some fears.

It seems pretty sketchy however, those pictures could be anything, the article it links to is unrelated, etc. Like they're just trying to scare us off a manufactuer they don't have an affiliate deal with.

I hate the idea of breathing in some noxious acid that is going to damage my nose, throat and lungs. But nobody has reported this experience with Chinese poppers, while it has been a pretty common experience for me when I've found myself sniffing fake/bathtub bottles in the past ordered from Western sites.

TinyDeal I understand is a supplier like Amazon, and if they are getting the poppers from one manufacturer, these poppers are probably less dodgy than the random shady Western sites out there. They do take the names/brands of Western popper formulas, but it seems the product is legit.

Last year on Poppers Place (before the new site), I remember reading an in-depth post (with photos) from somebody who had bought Chinese poppers and was very impressed.

Strangely,the post was removed from the forum within a few days with warnings to avoid.

I decided to buy, and was also impressed. (see my post dated Mon, 17 Feb 2014). There was a little leakage, but the first batch was IBN and quite strong. The after effects were very mild. In fact I went for a 6 mile walk the next day, no problem.

They should be warning about the dangers of IPN which is dangerous in my opinion. At least the Chinese aren't selling that crap.

China pops were cyclohexyl nitrite only. I cannot really be arsed to give the whole boring story, first made by one factory for a US dude. Now they are made from whatever by a whole bunch of outfits and will duplicate any brand and fill it with discount poop.

I've ordered from both AliExpress and TinyDeal and both were extremely positive experiences. Both were awesome quality and inexpensive. Shipping took about 2 weeks. Sadly, neither appears to sell them anymore.

Dudes, I bought my first bottle of Rush in 1978. Back then it could put you on your knees. Alas, it was never the same after it was banned the first time by the Omnibus Crime Bill of 1994 (NAFTA wasn't the only thing Bill Clinton did to us).

As far as a "Secret Formula" goes, what can be so hard about locating the chemical make-up of butyl nitrate? If you can't find that there is always the original product, amyl nitrate. The issue isn't finding a "Secret Formula" it's finding a producer/supplier.

What I don't understand is why you can score crack and heroin, but you can't find something as mundane as butyl nitrate.

I bought the original formulas in the 80s and bath houses. I could have all night no headaches no burnt noses or feeling crap the next day. I thought it was a never ending dream then all of a sudden this other stuff came in similar or same names but definitely the recipe changed there's no doubt about that. You young people that rate today's pop is good to bad have no idea unless you tried the original recipes off the 70s particularly the 80s and early to mid 90s. Yes regulation will have something to do with it but I think it's about making money. If you want to know the truth ask the old fellas.

Take it from any popper veteran from the late 70s 80s and 90s, that we enjoyed the best of the poppers from that era. Somewhere along the line the recipe changed for whatever reason, probably regulation?
As I stated in my first post the Poppers you buy in New Zealand now are total crap. At first I thought like anything you just get used to it and the effects wear off after a while you know how it is, the first hits always good and then you need more and more. But take it from this veteran that the old recipe from the 80/90's has change dramatically. I mentioned you could huff it will all night then do it again the next night with the same bottle and I'm talking frequent all might and long snorts. The crap you get now a few huffs is about it and the headaches start coming on pretty much straight away. And if you spill it on your nose get used to the burns and the scars will hang around for about a week and it sucks when you're in public or around friends. I don't condone the use of it but the old recipe/s were the Rolls Royce of poppers.
